One of the things we’ve been hearing from our community is the need to think about how our finances impact our movement. We know that the traditional systems do not support us nor do they fit into our way of working.
For instance, VASEN has been looking into fiscal sponsorship and possibly becoming a non-profit, but those efforts do not necessarily align with our values nor do they allow us to do the work of building a new economy for Virginia.
So, how can we do things differently?
For this Learn-in, we will bring together our community to talk a little more about how we are pushing these boundaries and invite an expert to help us think through this in new ways.
